[Previous entry: "Bye Bye Robbie :-("] [Main Index] [Next entry: "Lou Merloni claimed off waivers"] 03/24/2003 Archived Entry: "Bruins beat the Maple Leafs 3-2" In their first solid effort since GM Mike O'Connell took over as head coach, the Bruins beat the Toronto Maple Leafs 3-2. After not looking great in the first, Goalie Steve Shields made some amazing saves in the second and third periods. Mike Knuble, who won the 7th player award, scored the tiebreaking goal at the start of the 3rd period. It was an intense and well played game all around. Go Bruins!
Replies: 2 comments I wish I had Shields in my lineup last night. Ugh, instead I had a goalie who allowed 4 goals on 12 shots! I'm kicking ass in fantasy hockey, yeah right. :-) Posted by kathleen @ 03/25/2003 01:38 PM EST so Shields finally has a good game for you! Posted by jim @ 03/25/2003 01:22 PM EST |
