What an amazing golf tournament. I'm at a loss for what to write about it all. I do know that I couldn't stop thinking: this is what golf is supposed to be like! It was a true challenge for the players. There were some unbelievably awesome shots. There were tough breaks. The top ten on the final leader board ranged from -1 to +4. Of course you could tell by the looks of it but the course is far more difficult than any average golfer can imagine. Tiger was in the running as were other big names like Thomas Bjorn, Davis Love III and even Vijay Singh. But guess what, it gets even better because the rookie, Ben Curtis a 26 year old from Kent, Ohio whom had never even played in a major, won! The last round was so captivating that I almost missed my softball game. Well actually that was because of the ridiculous traffic on Route 128 North at 1 PM on a Sunday afternoon! But I digress. All I can say is this fan can't wait till the next British Open.
