Good point. I just remember finding the whole thing on the ridiculous side. A crazed Tejada swearing like a madman, seemed more obscene and impressionable than any celebration Lowe had on the mound. Lowe said he didn't intentionally make any gesture and did apologize. I enjoyed watching all the run support D Lowe got in this Wednesday's game though. Especially the 7 run inning that got started by a slightly slow Tejada not getting Pokey out.

Its a new team, a new season ... I think the vow only means something if he were still with Oakland.
